Eduardo Luísa Mate é uma força da natureza, nas passarelas internacionais e no mundo da moda em Moçambique. Sua beleza chega ser exuberante diante das câmeras, um homem bonito e sensível, que é a grande promessa da indústria da moda internacional, e a sensação da temporada do calendário de moda em Moçambique. Nascido em Moçambique ele reside no bairro Mavalane, desde criança. Sendo o único homem casula de uma família com 8 irmãs, ou seja, ele cresceu rodeado por mulheres. O que ele considera ser uma bênção. Eduardo nos revela um grande sonho realizado, como uma grande conquista em sua vida. Ele nos, conta que: “eu já conquistei muitas coisas, mas a coisa em que eu mais me orgulho e me lembro com uma imensa gratidão. Foi, quando eu ergui o meu quarto (Rsrsrs), para mim este foi o meu ponto de partida para conquistar as demais coisas”. Eduardo é um homem jovem é maduro que valoriza os princípios morais. O glamour das passarelas, ele encara com muita tranquilidade, e bom senso, de que ele é apenas um homem na sua natureza, esbanjando saúde, vitalidade, e muita beleza, ou seja, um Top model internacional, que acumula no seu Curriculum vários trabalhos que lhe renderam títulos importantes como em 2017 em que foi considerado o melhor modelo da 1° Edição do Fancy Fashion Show, já em 2019 foi reconhecido como o melhor Modelo Masculino além de ganhar um troféu.

Este reconhecimento público é um sinal claro que ele está cada vez mais ganhando espaço no mundo da moda internacional. Apesar de todo este sucesso na sua carreira Eduardo ressalta que existe os altos da vida e os baixos também. Aqui ele nos revela ser um homem de fé pois ele acredita que; as vezes as coisas não acontecem no nosso tempo mas sim, no tempo de Deus, projetos parados, ideias que foram parar no lixo. E que mesmo diante dessas mudanças ele é um homem otimista e muito resiliente. Outro fato que ele considera de extrema importância e fundamental na sua trajetória de vida profissional, está na família. Ele quer que a família sinta orgulho dele, uma falha pessoal, um fracasso, é uma derrota, diante dos olhos daqueles que ele ama verdadeiramente. Ele não admite falhar como filho e homem. Eduardo se define como um homem de paz, ele busca manter o equilíbrio, o respeito e a humildade diante da vida. Adepto da vida saudável ele não bebe, não fuma, para ele o seu único vício estar em comer. Gosta de ouvir uma boa música, como o soul e as românticas que embalam o seu coração. Extrovertido ele arrisca até dar uns passos de dança, o que em nenhum momento lhe tira, o prazer de ser apenas um menino, que estar descobrindo o mundo através da moda.

Com tantos compromissos e uma agenda lotada de trabalhos, Eduardo nos conta que viveu um dos momentos mais marcantes da sua vida. Quando participou de uma ação social, na organização de uma ceia de natal para os moradores de rua em Moçambique. Ele nos conta, que a cada refeição oferecida, ele sentia paz no coração. Mesmo sabendo que seria apenas naquele dia a ceia, o que lhe deixaram com os olhos cheios de lágrimas. E mais, pelos apelos dos moradores de rua que pediram para que eles voltassem. Bem, este é o Eduardo Luísa Mate, um homem especial, que o mundo da moda descobriu e se rendeu aos seus pés.

Conheça um pouco mais, de Eduardo Luísa Mate nesta entrevista exclusiva que ele nos concedeu, no meio de uma seção de fotos para um trabalho internacional.   

LAS – Quem é Eduardo Luísa Mate?

ELM –  Eduardo Mate o Eucalipto (rsrs), é um jovem modelo, de nacionalidade moçambicana, residente num dos bairros periféricos da cidade de Maputo – Capital, com 26 anos de idade e um grande sonho que é de se tornar um modelo internacional, tendo começado sua carreira no mundo da moda a sensivelmente à 6 anos, tendo feitos muitos trabalhos, desde: Desfile, Fotografia, Vídeos, Estátuas Humanas, Publicidades e serviços de Protocolo (O mundo da moda não tem limites e quando se é modelo moçambicano os desafios nascem a cada dia). E esse percurso começa quando conheço, sigo e entro na Agência de Moda do @King.Levi.Dapper, mil e uma realizações aconteceram depois de conhecer e trabalhar com esse grande ícone da moda moçambicana e internacional, ao longo desses anos ele (@King.Levi) se tornou um mentor. Um mestre e acima de tudo um pai, e tanto guiando o seu filho e hoje depois de muitos sacrifícios, Muito trabalho, tenho essa honra, dessa grande entrevista (Estou vibrando de emoções).

LAS – Quem é você na moda em Moçambique?

ELM – (Rsrsrs), Eu poderia estar a me gabar agora, mas minha humildade me impede, Não sou nada e sou muito, gosto de pensar que sou igual a meus irmãos modelos. Somos grandes apoiadores e desenvolvedores da moda moçambicano, lutando para o reconhecimento e valorização da moda moçambicana assim, como do modelo Moçambicano.

LAS – Você foi criado num clã feminino, isso fez alguma diferença na sua masculinidade?

ELM – Por acaso não. Mas, isso me ajudou a entender e respeitar as mulheres. Criado com uma mãe solteira e rodeado pelas minhas irmãs aprendi ainda cedo o papel importantíssimo que elas tem na sociedade. Mulheres são a Base do crescimento e desenvolvimento de um homem é por isso, aquele velho ditado “Atrás de um grande homem, há sempre uma mulher Virtuosa”.

LAS – Você disse que conquistou vários sonhos. Quais desses sonhos você considera o mais importante é porque?

ELM – Todos são. Por um simples motivo, todos foram conquistadas em épocas diferentes de acordo com meus objetivos no momento.

LAS – O que a moda representa para você?

ELM- Foco e esperança, infelizmente muitos jovem se perdem nessa fase da vida. Mas eu tenho algo que sempre me lembrar de quem sou, de onde venho, onde estou, e pra onde vou (MODA).

LAS – Como foi o início da sua carreira como modelo?

ELM- Tudo começou com um simples convite de um grande amigo @Alex.Abobacar, disse; ele, irmão tens aspirações pra ser um grande modelo. E eu simplesmente ignorei, só quem é jovem moçambicano sabe, O trabalho com remuneração baixa, cega nos e acabamos por desistir dos nossos sonhos, mas graças a Deus ele foi persistente e acabei aceitado e HUALAAA me encontrei. (Rsrsrs) meu primeiro desfile foi num bar, vestido a uma fantasia de cozinheiro, coração a mil, pela primeira vez na minha vida senti algo que nunca havia sentido antes. E era ali onde o estrago já tinha acontecido Rsrs, amei e nasceu uma cede pela moda que até hoje, ainda não consegui satisfazer.

LAS – Quais as dificuldades que você enfrentou e ainda enfrenta na carreira?

ELM – Fui duramente criticado, não sabia nada, era um mundo novo e poucas pessoas entendiam. Até de Gay fui chamado como se isso fosse um impasse ou motivo para se desistir de ser quem tu és (Força LBGT), mas também à dificuldade em conciliar trabalho e moda visto que precisava trabalhar para sustentar a moda, nem todos trabalhos tinham remuneração e isso dificulta e muito a carreira de um modelo, as agências fazem sua parte. Mas o sonho é seu, e ao correr atrás depara-se com muitos obstáculos.

LAS – Existe algum tipo de dificuldade na carreira por você ser um modelo de cor?

ELM –  Existe sim, numa sociedade cujo padrão estético hegemónico é o europeu, outras etnias são considerados desprovidos, O modelo negro precisa superar mais obstáculos para ser escolhido em um casting do que o branco. Mas o bom é que, o poder da decisão está na ótica do cliente. Mas o negro (Ouro Preto) tem um brilho e uma luz única ninguém nos oprime e desfoca nosso brilho.

LAS – Antes de você trabalhar como modelo, você trabalhou em que área? 

ELM – Eu trabalhava como faxineiro numa empresa sediada na minha cidade. A moda me abriu mil portas, criou várias oportunidades, conheci pessoas fluentes e hoje fora moda trabalho num dos hotéis da cidade como recepcionista. Mais uma vez o Ser Modelo me faz aprender e sentir (Sem nenhuma experiência, mas com postura, boa comunicação, carisma, etc.) alguns pontos que aprendi na moda consegui, empregar nessa vaga de emprego, onde eu ajudo a família com o que ganho.

LAS – A conclusão do ensino médio fez a diferença na sua vida? Porque? 

ELM – Fez sim, a meta é fazer faculdade, uma boa educação e um nível académico fazem também parte de um perfil de modelo, e ter concluído o ensino médio acrescentou mais oportunidades por ter o básico que um jovem precisa ter.

LAS – Como você enxerga o mercado de moda em Moçambique?

ELM – Melhorou e muito, hoje nota-se um crescimento tanto de estilistas, modelos, agências e todos fazedores da moda. Mas ainda não estamos satisfeitos, já criamos bases para as gerações futuras e queremos poder ganhar dinheiro e só depender da moda pra viver.

LAS – Como é trabalhar com King Levi Dapper?

ELM – Wauuu, nota Mil. Como eu disse, antes é um pai, e sendo pai, ele cuida e bem dos seus filhos. Sempre com projetos Tops, criou a @Kld.agency que hoje é uma das melhores agências a nível nacional e também o @Fancy.Fashion.Week. Uma plataforma única que tem ajudado muitos jovens a realizar seus sonhos, e aproveitar para dizer; muito Obrigadooooo @King.Levi

LAS – Você foi considerado em 2017, o melhor modelo da 1ª Edição Fancy Fashion Show como foi esta experiência para você?

ELM – Nossa senhora, Eita! Foi o primeiro golo na moda, difícil explicar aquela sensação, a emoção, o orgulho, foi uma mistura de sentimentos.

LAS – Já em 2019 como o melhor modelo masculino e ainda ganhou um troféu. Como você encara, este reconhecimento público no seu país?

ELM – Foi de louvar, pelo reconhecimento nem eu sabia. O número de pessoas que me apoiavam e seguiam, virei um ícone, aquele prémio pra mim foi a prova viva que nunca devemos desistir dos nossos sonhos.

LAS – Quais são seus planos atualmente? 

ELM- Um e único internacionalizar minha carreira. Quero nadar com os gigantes da moda Internacional e mostrar ao mundo que existe moda em meu país também.

LAS – Percebo que você em alguns momentos é uma pessoa muito sensível diante da realidade, vivida na sociedade principalmente pelos mais necessitados. Como na ação de doar alimentos para os moradores de rua. O que te levou a participar desta ação social?

ELM- Boas Ações fazem um homem, mesmo a menor das boas ações pode mudar/melhorar o dia de alguém necessitado. Deixei o conforto, a família e sai à rua passei o Natal tentando com o pouco, que tinha arrancar sorrisos dos desfavorecidos, me senti humano.

LAS – Você se considera um homem de fé?

ELM – Sim, tudo o que consegui foi crendo que é possível. Deus nos deu essa arma com munições infinitas (fé).

LAS – Você mostra muita preocupação com os seus familiares. Porque?

ELM – Minha família é meu ponto seguro, e por ser único homem em casa me sinto na responsabilidade de proteger e cuidar de todos. Apesar de protegerem mais a mim, do que eu a Eles (rsrsrs).

LAS – Como você enxerga o fracasso na profissão como modelo?

ELM- Modelos acabam por desistir dessa profissão por não terem rendimento mensal, mas quando você toma o ser Modelo como sendo sua personalidade, não tem como desistir do quem tu és, então moda deve ser mais do que uma profissão.

LAS – Em breve o calendário de moda em Moçambique irá começar. Quais são as suas expectativas neste sentido? 

ELM – Estou muito ansioso, em voltar às passarelas, visto que nos anos passados a pandemia da covid-19 (advertir à todos que continuem usando a máscara e desinfetando as mãos) atrapalhou e muito na realização dos eventos de moda, poucos que aconteciam tinham muitas restrições. Então para esse ano sinto que será muito Top, não vejo a hora de todos holofotes estarem virados pra mim.

LAS – Para você existe diferença no mercado de moda do Continente africano com a Europa? Qual?

ELM – Existe sim, no Continente Europeu já estão mais desenvolvidos, é um mundo de sonhos, e em contra partida no meu continente ainda estamos na luta para o reconhecimento. Para chegar a um nível em que o continente Europeu se encontra, temos que nos unir e trabalhar muito, mas é possível vamos chegar lá.

LAS – Você é um homem bonito, como você se cuida e mantêm a forma? 

ELM- (Rsrsrs), Prático exercícios físicos, bebo muita água, tenho uma alimentação saudável e regrada. Assim com algumas restrições no, diz; respeito a óleos para a pele, aplico um único óleo, não consumo bebidas alcoólicas e não fumo.

LAS – Qual o seu sonho no momento?

ELM – Coloquei como um objetivo para ser mais fácil de realizar (rsrsrs). Ter minha casa própria e minha própria família.

LAS – Você pensa em morar em outro país? Qual?

ELM – Nossa, o país dos meus sonhos é a França – Paris.

LAS – Porquê?

ELM – É lá onde a magia da moda acontece, estaria mais próximo do meu sonho, Acho que beijaria a passarela do Paris Fashion Week.

LAS – Para você a carreira de modelo tem prazo de validade?

ELM – No início da minha carreira achava que sim, mas agora sou da opinião que há um patamar que só alcanças com a idade certa, quando se é jovem aprendes muito e na fase adulta aplicas, pra dizer que com meus 60 anos serei um idoso top de gama e vou quebrar esse ciclo, não há prazo de validade pra se ser você mesmo.

LAS – Existe uma trilha sonora na sua vida? Você me dizer; o significado desta música para você?

LAS – Eduardo qual é o seu estilo?

ELM – Me enquadro no casual, Mas sou apaixonado pelo bizarro tipo aquela linhagem de roupa do Rapper @Kanye.West

LAS – No dia a dia que tipo de homem você é? 

ELM – Um homem de família, batalhador, focado e determinado.

LAS – Você tem um estilista preferido?

ELM – Todos estilistas moçambicanos no meu ver são tops, cada um com seu traço, fazem a diferença, mas meu preferido é o @Taibo.Bacar

LAS – Que país você gostaria de trabalhar? Porque?

ELM – Sempre apreciei os Estados Unidos da América, me parece um país de oportunidades.

LAS – Você conhece o Brasil?

ELM –  Infelizmente não, mas a maioria dos conteúdos que passam na nossa grade televisiva são todos do Brasil. Sonho em conhecer o Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana, desfilar no São Paulo Fashion Week, evento muito top, Também conhecer a @Gisele.Bundchen a super modelo.

LAS – Eduardo você é um homem otimista, isso te ajuda nos momentos difíceis da vida?

ELM – Eu gosto de pensar que nada acontece por acaso, sempre há um motivo, tento sempre apreciar as coisas e ver o lado bom delas e isso tem ajudado muito, consigo com isso equilibrar minhas emoções.

LAS – É admirável perceber através do seu olhar, a forma como você encara a vida. Você se considera uma homem diferente, sendo que você tem apenas 26 anos de idade? 

ELM – A idade é só um número, nossas atitudes é que nos definem. A forma como nós agimos a cada circunstância da vida conta muito, e sim eu sou diferente, sou único, sou a melhor versão de mim.

LAS – Eduardo o que você espera do mercado de moda em Moçambique?

ELM – Que continue evoluindo, criando oportunidades, intercâmbio com outros países, e que todo mundo perceba que moda também é ARTE.

LAS – Existe algo que você gostaria de trabalhar, fora da área de moda?

ELM – Sim, como um Policial de investigação criminal, gosto de desafios e esse seria um desafio daqueles.

LAS – Moçambique para você é? 

ELM – Casa, Um lugar onde a liberdade não tem preço.

LAS – O que você diria a um modelo que está iniciando a sua carreira agora?

ELM – Escolher ser modelo e não fazer moda. É uma realidade. Mais se um dia, você seguir um outro caminho diferente, uma profissão qualquer. Mas se, o Ser Modelo ainda estará em ti, tenha foco, determinação, autovalorização, que devem ser seus pontos fortes. Porque é possível ser um grande modelo, só tens que ser.

– Conheça a profissão: Só o interessante não é suficiente, conheça o mercado ao fundo, estude e pesquise o máximo que conseguir.

– Nem tudo será 5 estrelas, vais receber “NÃO” de mil pessoas mas acredite um único “SIM” vai mudar sua vida.

– Conte sempre com apoio da sua família e amigos.

– Cuide da sua alimentação, aparência, saúde, beleza e bem estar.

Eduardo Luísa Mate is a force of nature, on the international catwalks and in the fashion world in Mozambique. His beauty is exuberant in front of the cameras, a handsome and sensitive man, who is the great promise of the international fashion industry, and the sensation of the season on the fashion calendar in Mozambique. Born in Mozambique, he has lived in the Mavalane neighborhood since he was a child. Being the only male chasuble in a family with 8 sisters, that is, he grew up surrounded by women. What he considers to be a blessing. Eduardo reveals to us a great dream come true, as a great achievement in his life. He tells us that: “I have already achieved many things, but the thing I am most proud of and I remember with immense gratitude. It was, when I built my room (lol), for me this was my starting point to conquer the other things”. Eduardo is a young, mature man who values ​​moral principles. The glamor of the catwalks, he faces with a lot of tranquility, and common sense, that he is just a man in his nature, lavishing health, vitality, and a lot of beauty, that is, an international Top model, who accumulates several works in his Curriculum that earned him important titles such as in 2017 when he was considered the best model of the 1st Edition of the Fancy Fashion Show, in 2019 he was recognized as the best Male Model in addition to winning a trophy. And that even in the face of these changes he is an optimistic and very resilient man. Another fact that he considers extremely important and fundamental in his professional life is his family. He wants his family to be proud of him, a personal failure, a failure, is a defeat, in the eyes of those he truly loves. He does not admit to failing as a son and a man. Eduardo defines himself as a man of peace, he seeks to maintain balance, respect and humility in the face of life. Adept of healthy living, he doesn’t drink, he doesn’t smoke, for him his only addiction is eating. He likes to listen to good music, like soul and romantic ones that lull his heart. Extroverted, he even ventures to take a few dance steps, which at no time takes away from him the pleasure of being just a boy, who is discovering the world through fashion. With so many commitments and a busy schedule of work, Eduardo tells us that he lived one of the most memorable moments of his life. When he participated in a social action, in the organization of a Christmas dinner for the homeless in Mozambique. He tells us that with each meal offered, he felt peace in his heart. Even though he knew that it would only be supper that day, which left him with tears in his eyes. And more, because of the appeals of homeless people who asked them to come back. LAS – Who is Eduardo Luísa Mate?
ELM – Eduardo Mate o Eucalipto (lol), is a young Model, of Mozambican nationality, residing in one of the peripheral neighborhoods of the city of Maputo – Capital, with 26 years of age and a big dream that is to become an international Model, having started his career in the fashion world around 6 years ago, having done a lot of work, from: Parade, Photography, Videos, Human Statues, Advertising and Protocol services (The fashion world has no limits and when you are a Mozambican model the challenges are born each day). And this journey begins when I meet, follow and enter the @King.Levi.Dapper Fashion Agency,
A thousand and one accomplishments happened after meeting and working with this great icon of Mozambican and international Fashion, throughout these years He (@King.Levi) became a mentor, a master and above all a father, so much guided his son and Today after many sacrifices, a lot of work, I have the honor of this great interview (Vibrating with emotions).

LAS – Who are you in fashion in Mozambique?
ELM – (lol), I could be bragging right now, But my humility prevents me, I’m nothing and I’m a lot, I like to think that like my Modelo brothers we are great supporters and developers of Mozambican fashion, fighting for recognition and appreciation of Mozambican Fashion as well as the Mozambican Model.

LAS – You were raised in a female clan, did that make any difference to your masculinity?
ELM – Not by chance, But it helped me a lot to understand and respect Women, Raised with a single mother and surrounded by my sisters, I learned early on the very important role they play in society, Women are the Basis for the growth and development of a man, that’s why that old saying “Behind a Great there is always a Virtuous woman”.

LAS – You said you conquered many dreams. Which of these dreams do you consider the most important and why?
ELM – All are, For a simple reason all were conquered at different times according to my goals at the moment.

LAS – What does fashion represent for you?
ELM- Focus and Hope, Unfortunately many young people get lost at this stage of life, But I have something that always reminds me of who I am, where I come from, where I am and where I’m going (FASHION).

LAS – How was the beginning of your career as a model?
ELM- It all started with a simple invitation from a great friend @Alex.Abobacar, he said, Brother, you have aspirations to be a Great Model, and I just ignored it, only those who are young Mozambicans know, Low paid work blinds us and we ended up for giving up on our dreams, but thank God he was persistent and I ended up being accepted and HUALAAA I found myself. (lol) my first show was in a bar, dressed in a cook costume, heart racing, for the first time in my life I felt something I had never felt before and it was there where the damage had already happened lol, I loved it and a surrender was born for the fashion that I still haven’t been able to satisfy.

LAS – What difficulties have you faced and still face in your career?
ELM – I was harshly criticized, I didn’t know anything, it was a new world and few people understood, I was even called Gay as if this was an impasse or a reason to give up on being who you are (LBGT Force), but also because of the difficulty in reconciling work and fashion since I needed to work to support fashion, not all jobs had remuneration and this makes a model’s career very difficult, Agencies do their part but the dream is yours and when you run after you come across many obstacles.

LAS – Is there any kind of difficulty in your career because you are a model of color?
ELM – Yes, there is, in a society whose hegemonic aesthetic standard is the European, other ethnicities are considered lacking, The black model needs to overcome more obstacles to be chosen in a Casting than the white model, but the good thing is that the power of decision is in the customer perspective. But the Negro (Ouro Preto) has a shine and a unique light, no one oppresses us and blurs our shine.

LAS – Before you worked as a model, what area did you work in?
ELM – I used to work as a janitor in a company based in my city, Fashion opened a thousand doors for me, created several opportunities, I met fluent people and today outside fashion I work in one of the hotels in the city as a receptionist, once again Ser Modelo was felt ( With no experience, but with posture, good communication, charisma etc) some points I learned in fashion I got this job and I help the family with what I earn.

LAS – Did high school graduation make a difference in your life? Why?
ELM – Yes, you did, the goal is to go to college, a good education and an academic level are also part of a Model profile, and having completed high school added more opportunities for having the basics that a young person needs.

LAS – How do you see the fashion market in Mozambique?
ELM – It has improved a lot, today there is a growth of designers, models, agencies and all fashion makers, but we are still not satisfied, we have already created bases for future generations and we want to be able to earn money and only depend on fashion for a living .

LAS – What is it like working with King Levi Dapper?

LAS – You were considered in 2017, the best model of the 1st Edition Fancy Fashion Show how was this experience for you?
ELM – Our lady, Jeez, it was the first goal in fashion. It’s hard to explain that feeling, emotion, pride, it was a mixture of feelings.

LAS – Already in 2019 as the best male model and still won a trophy. How do you view this public recognition in your country?
ELM – It was to be praised, for the recognition even I didn’t know the number of people who supported and followed me, I became an icon, that award for me was living proof that we should never give up on our dreams.

LAS – What are your plans currently?
ELM- One and only to internationalize my Career, I want to swim with the international fashion giants and show the world that fashion exists in my country too.

LAS – I realize that at times you are a very sensitive person in the face of reality, lived in society mainly by the most needy. As in the action of donating food to the homeless. What led you to participate in this social action?
ELM- Good deeds make a man, even the smallest of good deeds can change/improve the day of someone in need. I left the comfort, the family and went out I spent Christmas trying with what little I had to get smiles from the underprivileged, I felt Human.

LAS – Do you consider yourself a man of faith?
ELM – Yes, all I got was believing that it is possible, God gave us this weapon with infinite ammunition (faith).

LAS – You show a lot of concern for your family members. Why?
ELM – My Family is my safe point, and as the only man at home I feel a responsibility to protect and take care of everyone. Although they protect me more than I protect them (lol).

LAS – How do you see failure in the profession as a model?
ELM- Models end up giving up this profession because they don’t have a monthly income, but when you take being a Model as your Personality, you can’t give up who you are, so fashion must be more than a profession.

LAS – Soon the fashion calendar in Mozambique will start. What are your expectations in this regard?
ELM – I am very anxious to return to the catwalks, since in the past years the covid-19 pandemic (warning everyone to continue using the mask and disinfecting their hands) greatly hindered the holding of fashion events, few that happened had many restrictions, so for this Year I feel it will be very Top, I can’t wait for all the spotlight to be on me.

LAS – Do you think there is a difference between the fashion market on the African continent and Europe? Which one?
ELM – Yes, there is, on the European continent they are already more developed, it is a world of dreams, and on the other hand, in my continent we are still fighting for recognition. To reach a level where the European continent is, we have to unite and work hard, but it is possible we will get there.

LAS – You are a handsome man, how do you take care of yourself and keep in shape?
ELM- (Rsrsrs), I practice physical exercises, I drink a lot of water, I have a healthy and regulated diet as well as some restrictions with regard to oils for the Skin, I apply a single oil, I don’t consume alcoholic beverages and I don’t smoke.

LAS – What is your dream at the moment?
ELM – I set it as a goal to make it easier to do (lol) Having my own house and my own family.

LAS – Do you think about living in another country? Which one?
ELM – Wow, the country of my dreams is France – Paris.

LAS – Why?
ELM – That’s where the magic of fashion happens, it would be closer to my dream, I think I would kiss the Paris Fashion Week catwalk.

LAS – For you, does the modeling career have an expiration date?
ELM – At the beginning of my career I thought so, but now I am of the opinion that there is a level that you only reach at the right age, when you are young you learn a lot and in adulthood you apply it, to say that at the age of 60 I will be an old man top of the range and I’m going to break this cycle, there’s no expiration date on being yourself.

LAS – Is there a soundtrack in your life? You tell me; the meaning of this song for you?

ELM – I fit in casual, but I’m in love with the bizarre type of clothing lineage from Rapper @Kanye.West

LAS – On a day-to-day basis what kind of man are you?
ELM – A family man, hardworking, focused and determined.

LAS – Do you have a favorite stylist?
ELM – All Mozambican stylists in my opinion are tops, each one with their own line, makes a difference, but my favorite is @Taibo.Bacar

LAS – What country would you like to work in? Why?
ELM – I have always appreciated the United States of America, it seems to me to be a country of opportunities,

LAS – Do you know Brazil?
ELM – Unfortunately not, but most of the content that airs on our television grid is all from Brazil, I dream of meeting Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana, parading at São Paulo Fashion Week, a very top event, Also meeting @Gisele.Bundchen a super model.

LAS – Eduardo you are an optimistic man, does this help you in difficult moments of life?
ELM – I like to think that nothing happens by chance, there is always a reason, I always try to appreciate things and see the good side of them and this has helped a lot, I manage to balance my emotions with that.

LAS – It is admirable to see through your eyes the way you face life. Do you consider yourself a different man when you are only 26 years old?
ELM – Age is just a number, our attitudes are what define us, The way we act in each circumstance of life counts a lot, and yes I am different, I am unique, I am the best version of myself.

LAS – Eduardo what do you expect from the fashion market in Mozambique?
ELM – That it continues to evolve, creating opportunities, exchanges with other countries, and that everyone realizes that fashion is also ART.

LAS – Is there anything you would like to work on outside of the fashion field?
ELM – Yes, as a Criminal Investigation Police, I like challenges and this would be one of those challenges.

LAS – Is Mozambique for you?
ELM – Home, A place where freedom is priceless.

LAS – What would you say to a model who is starting his career now?
ELM – Choose to be a Model and not make fashion, because one day you can follow a different path, any profession but the Being a Model will still be in you, focus, determination, self-worth should be your strengths, it is possible to be a great model you just have to be.
